The Australian subsidiary of The CSL Group Inc. owns and operates 9 vessels ranging from 13,500dwt to 51,000dwt and carry a diverse range of cargoes including cement, gypsum, clinker, coal, salt, sugar and iron ore. Extensive experience and technical expertise in self unloading bulk carriers and pneumatic cement carriers combine to give CSL Australia a competitive advantage over other operators on the Australian coast. CSL Australia transport over 8.5 million tonnes per annum of dry bulk cargo in a fast and cost effective manner to customers dealing primarily in the construction industries within Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, also carries on transhipping operations in Whyalla in the Upper Spencer Gulf of South Australia.
